- Capitol Theatre Movie Nights: Normally home to the Wheeling Symphony Orchestra and touring music and theater shows, the Capitol Stage is a summertime cinema in Wheeling. The Summer Movie Series transforms the stage into a silver screen for families to enjoy classic films. On select Thursday nights, shows will begin at 7:30 p.m. On the proceeding Sunday, matinee shows begin at 3:30 p.m. Show dates and film selections are available online, and tickets can be purchased in advance for $5 for an adult and $3 for children. Concessions will also be available.
- Dive-In Movies: Grab a raft and jump on in for Dive-In Movies at Wheeling Park pool. In this fun twist on movie viewing, guests can swim or float in the pool as movies are shown on a large outdoor screen. Wheeling Park Dive-In Movies take place each Saturday evening at dusk. The cost for the movie is included in the pool admission, which is $7.25 for those ages 13 and under, $6.25 for ages 4-12 and kids under three are free.
- Drive-In Movies at Wheeling Park: Feel like staying dry but still catching a flick? Wheeling Park also hosts classic drive-in movies on select Friday evenings throughout the summer. A large screen is hung outside of the White Palace. Simply find a parking spot and enjoy the show! There is no cost for admission and shows begin at dusk. - Riverside Movie Nights: The City of Wheeling hosts Riverside Movie Nights at Heritage Port on select Friday nights during the summer. An outdoor screen is constructed at the amphitheater at the port for family-friendly movie viewings on select Friday evenings, weather permitting.
