Towngate Theatre hosts the West Liberty University Creative Arts Therapy 2026 exhibition.

The exhibition includes studio art as well as work created from art therapy directives. Art Therapy is a mental health profession that uses art media and the creative process to explore feelings, reconcile emotional conflicts, foster self-awareness, manage behavior and addictions, develop social skills, improve reality orientation, reduce anxiety and increase self-esteem.

The art will remain on display from April 17-May 16, 2026.  The Gallery at Towngate is open 11am-1pm Monday-Friday and during all events.

The opening reception is Friday, April 17th from 6-8pm.  It is free and open to the public with light refreshments served.  Drinks including beer and wine are available for purchase.
