Join us at the Schrader Center in Oglebay as we help track bird populations as part of Project FeederWatch.

Project FeederWatch is a winter-long bird survey that helps scientists track long-term trends in bird distribution and abundance. Your observations will become part of something bigger. Count the birds that visit our feeders just outside the windows with a Schrader Center Naturalist. Read more here.

Dates are Nov. 13, 14, 20 & 21, and Dec. 4, 5, 11, 12, 18 & 19.

No experience necessary – beginner and expert birders welcome. Stop by for as little or as long as you would like!

Explore nature as a family…

Replace your child’s screen time with green time! Our family nature programs bring families together for quality time learning about nature. So, get outside and explore! Activities ignite children’s interests in science and nature. Children socialize with other kids outside of a traditional classroom setting. They have a lot of fun, too. And parents meet and connect with other parents. Most of all, our programs instill a lifelong appreciation and respect for the natural world.
