Professional photographer Neal Warren will walk you through the do’s and don’ts of photographing your artwork for exhibit entries during a free workshop, 1:30-3pm Saturday, March 30 at the Stifel Fine Arts Center.

Many art exhibitions now require that you submit digital images of your work for consideration and jurying. Professionally-photographed of artwork greatly increases your chances at being accepted into exhibits.

Photographing two-deminsional and three-dimensional work will be discussed – including setup, lighting, shooting tips, file handling and more. The workshop is ideal for artists planning to exhibit in CrosscurrentsOglebayfest and other local/regional exhibits.

All camera and lighting equipment will be provided. Participants should bring a pen & paper for note taking. Please do not bring artwork to the workshop. After completing the workshop, artists are invited to make an appointment to photograph their work at the Stifel Fine Arts Center. Appointments will be taken through April 13.

Pre-registration required. Register online or call 304-242-7700.

Presented with support from Wheeling Heritage.
