The show takes place during Oglebay Institute’s Festival of Trees and Holiday Art Show and Sale. Doors open at 6:30pm and remain open until 11pm. Come early and stay late to browse and shop before and after the concert.

The Jenny Wilson Trio jazz ensemble focuses on original music as well as choice classic and contemporary standards.

Jenny Wilson is a composer, pianist, flutist and vocalist. Originally from Queens, New York, she is a graduate of West Virginia University’s master of music jazz pedagogy program and has toured in Switzerland, Austria and Germany. Her composing, warm vocal style and articulate piano playing have earned her a fulltime career in music performance. This will be the second performance by the trio at Stifel Fine Arts Center.

Bassist Nathan Wilson is Jenny’s husband and also performs with the Squonk Opera from Pittsburgh, PA. He is especially attuned to the melodic style of playing that is a key element to the group sound.

Drummer David Glover is the director of the music program at Slippery Rock University. He is a member of the Balcony Big Band and plays regularly with the Jenny Wilson Trio.
