Oglebay Institute is pleased to bring The Dancing Wheels Company to the Ohio Valley for “Dancing On a Dream” – public concert featuring some of president and founding artistic director Mary Verdi-Fletcher’s favorite works from the last decade.  

The Company will perform “Dancing On a Dream” at 7pm Tuesday, April 2 at the John Marshall High School auditorium in Glendale.

Now in its 38th anniversary season under the artistic direction of founder Mary Verdi-Fletcher, Dancing Wheels is recognized as the first and foremost professional physically integrated dance company in America uniting the talents of dancers both with and without disabilities. Since its inception in 1980, the highly skilled ensemble of stand-up and sit-down (wheelchair) dancers has reached over five million people worldwide with innovative mainstage performances, school assembly programs, guest appearances and numerous outreach activities.
