OGLEBAY WINTER FESTIVAL OF LIGHTS

The Oglebay Winter Festival of Lights, which began in 1985, has grown into one of the nation’s largest holiday light shows. It attracts more than a million visitors each year, including thousands of tour buses from across the United States. The show has even been identified as one of the best Christmas displays in the United States by many travel companies and online publications.
The Oglebay Winter Festival of Lights covers more than 300 acres over a six-mile drive throughout Oglebay Park. Featuring 89 lighted attractions boasting more than one million lights, this energy-efficient, LED show is sure to amaze guests of all ages. Festival favorites include the animated Snowflake and Rainbow Tunnels, Dinosaurs, Cinderella, the larger-than-life Polyhedron Star, Snoopy and Friends, and Willard the Snowman, named for the TV weatherman Willard Scott who joined in the festivities in 1986.
